Build a village that comes alive in Ornélia, a cozy builder and benevolent god game set in a magical valley. Guide the lovable Kinous and shape a peaceful world where every action has an impact.

In Create Mode, available in Early Access, you are free to shape your world at your own pace: place buildings, decorate the land, and create a home where the Kinous can live, play, and grow. 

Choose what to build, where to place it, and how your town comes together. Design for beauty, efficiency, or a balance of both as you create a village that reflects your style.

Throughout Early Access, we will continually expand and improve Ornélia. Just as players grow the village of Ornélia, the game itself will evolve alongside them. We can only do this with your help. Play early, lend your voice, and help determine the destiny of our game on our road to version 1.0.

Guide the growth of your village and help its inhabitants thrive. The Kinous respond to the world you create. They emote, celebrate, ask for help, and fill your village with small moments of life. Zoom in close and see how your choices shape their world. 

You’re not just observing from above. Pick up Kinous and help them directly, intervening as a gentle spirit guiding the land.

Infinite Mode, available in Early Access, gives you freedom to build and personalize your world at your own pace. Adventure Mode, planned for 1.0, introduces a narrative journey where your kindness helps restore the Kiskanu tree.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It really depends on the feedback we receive. Our goal is about nine months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Throughout Early Access and into the release of 1.0, we'll be adding new content. The options at the start of Early Access will be small compared to what makes 1.0. We will share a roadmap of Early Access planned updates after EA has launched.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Create Mode in Early Access provides unlimited play, numerous roles to give characters, and plenty of buildings, upgrades, and decorations for your village. You can make Ornélia in the image you desire. What is missing is... more. More of everything to continually unlock more of your creativity.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price with each major update during Early Access, reaching the full price for the 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be active on Discord and in reviews, gathering feedback. We'll also hold some dev talk sessions where players can speak directly to us and learn more about what's next in Early Access. For us, the first version of Early Access is what we imaged Ornélia should be. After that, the community will guide what Ornélia becomes.”
